| Description: | The Department of Political Science is dedicated to training students to become informed citizens and effective professionals. Our bachelors curricula examine domestic and international power structures, socioeconomic relations, and the building blocks of public life—government, ideas, and activity—in their domestic, international, comparative, geographic, and theoretical dimensions. In addition to focused study in the core subfields of political science—American politics, political theory, comparative politics, and international relations—there is considerable room to tailor your study within the major, and the department offers ample opportunities for independent study, honors theses and internships. |
